Meet the Edinburgh Festival Lets Team

There are now 11 members of the team at Edinburgh Festival Lets, each bringing a unique quality to the company because of the diverse range of experiences both in and out of the property letting industry in Edinburgh.

John Davidson - Director

"SouthSide was set up after John was unhappy at how other agents charged for and managed his own buy-to-let properties while working for Lidl. At Lidl he was responsible for finding, negotiating, acquiring, achieving planning consent, licensing and building what has now become 12 open supermarkets.

John developed his work ethic from an early age working on the family beef & sheep farm near Moffat, before at Edinburgh University studying Business& Accounting which he funded himself from his teenage business selling Free Range Eggs and from running his own business while at university in America, which also bought him his 1st  two HMO properties.

His passion and knowledge for commercial and particularly residential property is unrivalled, helping clients maximise their investments as he thinks like a landlord and has very strong basic principles and ethics regarding property which are at the forefront of SouthSide, Edinburgh Festival Lets & his colleagues"
