About Edinburgh
Edinburgh has been home to many of the most famous, gifted, eccentric and downright mad in history; writers, scientists, philanthropists, thinkers and even the odd body snatcher. From faithful dogs to the creator of Harry Potter, from the genius who gave life to Sherlock Holmes to that chap who brought us the telephone, they have all lived, worked and died in Auld Reekie.
Edinburgh in August offers culture by the bucket; theatre, comedy, opera, ballet, Arts Festival, Book Festival, the Tattoo - we have it all. But we also have great clubs and pubs, fantastic restaurants, more museums than you can shake a stick at and some seriously odd places to visit - the Museum of Childhood, "Oh look, I had one of those!" is the usual war cry, Mary Kings Close where time stands still and the world famous Ghost Walks, are you brave enough?
The real joy of the Festival is not quite knowing what may happen next, so please don't plan every moment of your stay; go with the flow, live in the moment and see where it takes you; but if you find yourself in Glasgow, turn right round and come back!
We can offer Holiday rentals in Edinburgh all year round and we specialise in providing Holiday lets in Edinburgh for the Edinburgh festival. Have a look through our properties and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
